Job description:
A mid-sized Troy law firm is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, organized, and dedicated legal assistant to support multiple partners.
Experience as a litigation legal assistant is required.
Skills/tasks required: Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, familiarity with managing detailed calendars, coordinating meetings, thinking outside the box, experience with e-filing, preparation of pleadings (such as subpoenas, interrogatories, basic motions, etc.), familiarity with drafting professional correspondence, familiarity with motion practice procedures, familiarity with court forms (praecipes, notices of hearing, etc.), skilled in multi-tasking, comfortable answering phones and speaking with clients/attorneys/courts regularly.
Organizational excellence and attention to detail are a MUST.
This is an in-person position at our Troy office; a remote schedule is not an option for this position.
