What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Gianessa Hospitality?
As a Server, you’ll be the face of the guest experience, delivering top-notch service, anticipating needs, and keeping the energy high. You’ll work closely with our bartenders, kitchen team, and fellow servers to ensure every table feels taken care of and every shift runs smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
-Greeting guests promptly and with genuine hospitality
-Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them efficiently
-Maintaining knowledge of current menu items, specials, and promotions
-Delivering food and drinks quickly and with attention to presentation
-Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit
-Handling payments accurately and responsibly
-Supporting team members during peak hours and helping maintain a clean, organized workspace
What We’re Looking For
-Previous serving experience preferred (sports bar or casual dining a plus)
-Strong communication and multitasking skills
-A positive, team-first attitude and love for great hospitality
-Availability for evenings, weekends, and game days
-Must be 21 to serve alcohol
