Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation and service
- Assist with menu planning to introduce new pizza options and seasonal specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Handle food with care, using proper knife skills and cooking techniques to ensure quality and consistency
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of pizza for special occasions or group orders
- Serve customers directly when needed, providing friendly and efficient service to enhance their dining experience
Experience
- Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food safety protocols
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred, especially within the food industry or fine dining settings
- Strong kitchen experience with excellent knife skills and meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards
- Background in catering or food service roles that require attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Familiarity with menu planning, food presentation, and maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced setting
