We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Salad Maker & Deep Fryer Cook to join our team. Giacomo's Brick Oven Pizza & Trattoria is a new Italian restaurant in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. Previous experience required.
- Prepare a variety of salads using established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, blenders, and refrigeration units
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad station and surrounding areas in compliance with safety standards
- Support food preparation activities such as chopping, slicing using proper knife skills, and ingredient portioning
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and ensure timely service
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold food safety management standards during all stages of meal prep
