Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter integrity.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, de-escalating tensions and ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and inspections for reporting purposes.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors that could lead to theft or damage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
