What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at GHSP?
Come join a winning team! GHSP is seeking a Material Handler on 3rd shift. The primary responsibilities will be to support and ensure the completeness and accuracy of material movement systems through the design and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and techniques; compile and maintain material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement from receiving through production to shipping; as well as provide miscellaneous project support.
Requirements:- Technical Experience: Material Handling and industrial forklift operations.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and QAD Knowledge
- Analytical Skills: Basic math skills. Ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety procedures, and operating procedures.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of manufacturing variables, attention to detail is a must.
- Decision Making: Good decision making, planning, and organizational skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job. Ability to obtain industrial powered truck license.
- Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
