Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeters, utilizing CCTV surveillance systems to monitor activity.
- Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and performing background checks on visitors and contractors.
- Respond swiftly to security breaches or emergencies by implementing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and medical assistance.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, breaches, or accidents with clarity and accuracy for future reference.
- Handle firearm handling responsibly in accordance with safety regulations while maintaining readiness for potential threats.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while ensuring safety for all parties involved.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as needed during patrols or incident responses, maintaining physical security standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles with a focus on law enforcement or military backgrounds preferred.
- Valid certification in firearm handling, Taser operation, CPR/AED certification, and first aid training required.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, surveillance techniques, and incident report writing.
- Strong understanding of physical security measures including patrolling procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during high-stress situations.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively over extended periods.
- Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations and heavy lifting safety procedures.
