📍 Mississippi / Memphis Metro

💰 $250,000–$275,000 base 40% bonus LTI

I’m partnering with a highly successful, established consumer business on a confidential search for a Vice President of Operations.

This is a substantial leadership opportunity for an experienced operator who has led large-scale e-commerce fulfillment, distribution and light manufacturing operations — and knows how to take a high-performing operation to the next level.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll lead a sophisticated operation spanning:

• High-volume e-commerce & omnichannel fulfillment

• Small-parcel distribution

• Light manufacturing, personalization and value-added services

• Multi-site operations

• Peak-season planning and execution

• Engineering, safety and operational excellence

• P&L and operating performance

• Continuous improvement and transformation

• Development of a strong Director/Senior Manager leadership bench

This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role and the business has a strong operating model and continues to perform exceptionally well.

This is NOT a “fix a broken operation” assignment.

The mandate is to take an already successful organisation and identify where the next level of performance can come from while strengthening operational discipline, developing the leadership team, improving KPIs, optimising cost-to-serve and preparing the operation for continued growth.

WHO I’M LOOKING TO SPEAK WITH

I’m particularly interested in VPs, Senior VPs and high-performing Senior Directors who have operated in environments involving:

✅ Large-scale e-commerce / DTC fulfillment

✅ Omnichannel operations

✅ High-volume distribution and small-parcel

✅ Multi-site leadership

✅ Light manufacturing, assembly, kitting or personalization

✅ Peak-season operations

✅ P&L / significant financial accountability

✅ Lean / Six Sigma / operational excellence

✅ Large-scale transformation, automation or systems implementation

✅ Leadership of Directors and Senior Managers

Relevant backgrounds could include retail, consumer goods, e-commerce, logistics, distribution, manufacturing or similarly complex operating environments.

THE TYPE OF LEADER THEY NEED

-Someone who can be strategic without becoming detached from the operation.

-Someone who uses data, KPIs and financial insight to make decisions.

-Someone who can walk the floor, understand the operational detail, challenge the status quo and then step back to build the longer-term strategy.

And importantly, someone who can develop the existing leadership team rather than simply run everything themselves.
