The Opportunity
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality MEP design solutions across a diverse range of projects. This position offers exposure to full project lifecycles, from concept design through construction administration, working alongside experienced engineers, architects, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer mechanical or electrical building systems
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams
- Prepare construction documents, drawings, and specifications
- Support project delivery from concept through construction
- Review submittals and respond to RFIs
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients
- Assist with project scheduling and delivery milestones
- Mentor junior engineers (Project Manager level)
- Participate in BIM coordination and technical reviews
Mechanical Focus (Where Applicable)
- HVAC and mechanical system design
- Load calculations and equipment selection
- Energy-efficient and sustainable system design
- Plumbing and building systems coordination
Electrical Focus (Where Applicable)
- Power distribution and electrical system design
- Lighting and lighting controls
- Low-voltage and communication systems
- Emergency power and fire alarm systems
Requirements
Project Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3–8 years of building systems design experience
- EIT preferred or working toward PE
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Project Manager
- 7 years of experience preferred
- PE license preferred
- Experience leading projects and coordinating teams
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards
