Project Manager - Mechanical Construction | Reno, NV
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee mechanical construction and fabrication projects from award through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Own all phases of project delivery - cost, schedule, and client satisfaction
- Track and forecast project financials; report to executive leadership
- Produce and maintain project schedule
- Lead change management: estimates, budgets, and proposals
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate with field leadership, fabrication teams, engineers, and accountants
- Direct project meetings and mentor junior staff
- Lead small/medium project bids; support BD on larger pursuits
Requirements:
- Engineering or Construction Management degree, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in mechanical construction; federal/DOE site background preferred
- PMP certified or ability to obtain within one year
- Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and technical documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Estimating experience a plus
