What You Will Do
Accounts Receivable Leadership
- Lead collections efforts and work directly with customers on past due accounts
- Partner with Sales to manage credit risk and resolve billing or pricing disputes
- Improve invoicing, cash application, and dispute resolution processes
- Oversee write offs, credits, and account adjustments
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate vendor records and payment details
- Monitor and report on AP activity and trends
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve AR and AP workflows
- Drive automation and efficiency using Epicor P21, DocRecord, or similar systems
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and approval processes
- Partner cross functionally to implement system enhancements and improve adoption
- Improve invoice processing accuracy and turnaround time
- Monitor daily cash activity and resolve discrepancies
- Analyze trends in collections and payments to support planning
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital initiatives
- Lead, coach, and develop AR and AP team members
- Set clear goals and expectations and support team success
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or both in a high volume environment
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor or similar platforms
- Strong Excel skills and overall technical proficiency
- Solid understanding of how AR and AP impact the general ledger and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and lead in a fast paced environment
