Welcome to Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio NE/Schertz, Texas located right off IH35 N exit 175. You will find exactly what you need in our 117 comfortable rooms with larger, family sized suites available. All standard rooms have a microwave and refrigerator for your convenience. Randolph Air Force Base is easily accessible from Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio NE/Schertz and we also provide convenient access to San Antonio International Airport, the Alamo and the Downtown San Antonio/River Walk area.
We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Front Desk Agent.
- Responsible for counting cash, and maintaining accuracy of issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift.
- Daily checks the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
- Transmits and receives telephone messages when necessary.
- Works closely with the reservations department to ensure arrival dates on reservations are correct.
- Communicates all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
- Works closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Explains in-room and hotel features.
- Responsible for completing all required shift paperwork and reports as assigned by management.
- Responsible for completing all end of shift cash closing procedures.
- Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Computes bill, collects payment, and makes changes for guests.
- Makes and confirms reservations.
- Posts charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone to ledger.
- Completes daily-required shift checklists.
- Must wear required uniform. Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
