Job Title: Estate Planning Paralegal
Location: Carmel, Indiana
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site. Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (one hour lunch break)
Annual Salary: Pay commensurate with experience

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate planning, know how to confidently communicate with clients to assist with estate planning document executions, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves drafting estate planning documents, and meeting with clients to execute those documents on a daily basis. The candidate for this position must be able to learn and explain key estate planning information which will be provided to the candidate to learn in the form of a script.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
- Prepare deeds and letters to client
- Assist clients with trust funding
- Meeting with clients to review, explain and execute estate planning documents
- Communicate with clients, providing updates and answering inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work autonomously
- Must work proactively and quickly due to number of client matters at a busy firm
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with estate planning of at least one year is a requirement of this position
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding organization skills, including time management and systematizing all processes as much as possible
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Flexible and collaborative approach to working in a team, while highly-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent follow-through capabilities

Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
