What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Technician position at Getz Lawn Care?
Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking snow removal technician to join our team. You will be on-call for snow events (approximately up to 15 snow storms between 12.29/25 to Mar 31).
Key Responsibilities:
- Be available on-call for snow events (night, early morning, weekends)
- Assist with shoveling, de-icing, spreading salt/sand, clearing driveways, sidewalks, walkways
- Learn routes, equipment, and safe procedures
- Be punctual, reliable, and ready to respond at short notice
- Maintain high quality, efficient work and attention to detail
- Assist in spring/summer operations (e.g. sprinkler work, landscaping, etc.) once trained
Preferred / Nice to Have (but not required):
- Valid driver's license
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift shovels, ice, salt, etc.
