What are the responsibilities and job description for the SHIPPING AND RECIEVING position at Gettel Automotive Group?
- Loads and unloads delivery vehicles to include operating fork trucks, lifting and carrying merchandise and stocking in appropriate areas throughout the warehouse.
- Verifies quantities of deliveries and merchandise serial numbers by comparing merchandise to packing slips.
- Visually inspects deliveries for damage and notifies management of discrepancies.
- Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves and maintaining all parts bins
- Provide exceptional service to all customers and vendors.
- Prepares shipments to include filling orders, boxing materials, labeling with appropriate shipping information and completing appropriate paperwork.
- Assist with the annual parts inventory process.
- Delivers parts to service technicians when necessary.
- Help maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the parts department and the delivery vehicle.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area at all times.
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior work related experience helpful
