Position Summary:
This is a non-clinical, office-based position designed for Registered Nurses seeking a transition from physically demanding hospital or rehabilitation settings to a structured and supportive administrative role. As a QA RN, you will leverage your clinical expertise to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of patient records within our home health and/or hospice programs. There is no bedside care involved—just meaningful, detail-oriented work that supports high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Documentation Review
- Audit OASIS assessments, plans of care, and visit notes for completeness and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Title 22, and accrediting body standards
- Communicate with field staff to clarify or amend clinical documentation
Care Quality Monitoring
- Monitor timeliness, utilization, and adherence to care protocols
- Identify trends or documentation gaps and assist in corrective actions
- Support mock survey preparation and assist during external audits
Collaborative Support
- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing, case managers, and intake team
- Participate in quality assurance meetings and performance improvement initiatives
- Provide coaching and guidance to clinical staff based on QA findings
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California
- At least 1 year of bedside experience in hospital, SNF, or rehab settings
- Strong attention to detail and clinical documentation understanding
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working onsite in a team-based office environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in home health or hospice operations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Kinnser, WellSky, or HCHB (training provided)
- Interest in compliance, quality assurance, or process improvement
