JOB SUMMARY:
Position will be first call IT support at Gestamp WV location. Will require hands on support for computer and printer issues, software installation and troubleshooting, printer installation and troubleshooting, new workstation setup, production area monitor setup, small network cable runs and any other IT work as business demands. This position also provides system administration of all servers (physical and virtual), SAN and network infrastructure.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSBILITIES:
1. Operate as initial point of contact for IT related issues,
2. Create user accounts, computer objects and groups in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2013 Admin,
3. PC and software installation, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair,
4. Network printer and Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting,
5. Configuring Cisco VOIP phones and call manager,
6. Smartphone and iPad setup and troubleshooting,
7. Requisition and configure user VPN tokens,
8. Installation and support of Production monitoring systems,
9. Supports backup server, backups, restores, tape robotic library and tape rotation,
10. Physical and virtual server setup and monitoring,
11. Network maintenance and security (switch configuration, troubleshooting, monitor anti-virus, anti-malware),
12. Monitor Security camera system and work with vendor on hardware issues,
13. Monitor and manage network for IP addresses using DHCP, SAN and monitor network drive spaces,
14. Assist with zero touch workstation builds utilizing MDT,
15. Maintain IIS/Intranet,
16. Run network cabling (includes terminating RJ-45/crimping),
17. Interfaces with contractors for installations as needed,
18. Testing all hardware and software to ensure stable operation
19. Support projects and initiatives such as SAP implementation, network infrastructure expansion, etc.,
20. Understand and comply with all OSHA and PPE requirements,
21. Collaborate with IT personnel throughout North America and Spain,
22. Incorporate good communications to impact technical information to non-technical users,
23. Be able to work independently in a fast paced environment,
24. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. HS Diploma and 3 years’ experience or AS Degree and 1 year of experience
2. Manufacturing experience preferred
3. PC Tech experience in a corporate environment
4. Certifications or professional programs

1. Skilled PC troubleshooting & repair, software/hardware install & repair, printer setup & troubleshooting, CAT 5 termination
2. Server and desktop hardware, exchange 2010
3. Good for “learned abilities” Excel, computers, etc.
