Gerhart is seeking a Field Service Technician to specialize in Calibration services to join our team. In this position there will be a strong focus on performing various calibration services in the field. The ideal candidate should have a general mechanical or electrical background, be a self-starter with a solid customer oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of field services including: installation, calibration, and maintenance of customer equipment
- Accurately record and maintain testing data in accordance with defined standards
- Ability to mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose malfunctions and repair weighing equipment.
- Communicate findings and solutions to customers while establishing positive relationships
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of 120VAC wiring and/or DC signal wiring
- Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills
- Offer exceptional customer service and communicate effectively
- Able to bend, crawl, and lift 50 lb. for extended periods of time in a safe manner
- Maintain a valid drivers license with ability to obtain a CDL
