Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and attract prospective clients through networking, community events, and telemarketing efforts
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess insurance needs for life, health, and group benefits.
- Present and explain insurance policies clearly, highlighting benefits and coverage options to facilitate informed decision-making
- Negotiate policy terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining compliance with insurance regulations
- Manage sales administration tasks efficiently using AMS systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, follow-ups, and client information
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service, ongoing communication, and benefits administration support
- Stay current on industry trends, insurance regulation updates, and product knowledge to provide expert guidance
Experience
- Proven success in outside sales or retail sales roles within the insurance or financial services industry
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively
- Familiarity with health insurance, and life insurance products
- Experience using AMS systems for client management and sales tracking; proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred
- Excellent analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable coverage options
- Knowledge of insurance regulation standards and benefits administration processes is highly desirable
- Current PA Insurance Producer License in Life & Health is required
Position is salary based plus commission.
