Senior Buyer | Manufacturing Procurement | Monroe & Jacksonville, MI

Are you a strategic procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join Gerdau, a global leader in steel manufacturing, and play a critical role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

As a Senior Buyer, you'll lead sourcing for MRO and Services, supplier negotiations, drive cost savings initiatives, and partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Leadership teams to ensure continuity of supply.

What You'll Do:

Lead sourcing, negotiations, and contract management for key commodities and servicesBuild and manage strategic supplier relationshipsDrive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure uninterrupted supply to support production goalsAnalyze spend, market trends, and supplier performanceMentor procurement team members and lead cross-functional projects

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, EconomicsCPSM, CPM, CSCP, or similar certifications preferred7-10 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in manufacturing, steel, metals, automotive, or heavy industryProven success negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationshipsStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
