Gerber Life is looking for an Agency Support Specialist to be the go-to expert for our external agents — the face of our brand and the voice of support that powers our success.
What You’ll Do
As the key liaison between Gerber Life and our valued agents, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional agent support through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring every interaction meets compliance and service excellence standards.
- Be a product and process expert — guiding agents on policy inquiries, payments, licensing, commissions, and more.
- Collaborate across teams (Underwriting, Finance, Policy Admin, and more) to solve issues and ensure seamless agent experiences.
- Handle licensing and contracting questions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure agents are properly set up to sell and succeed.
- Support commissions inquiries, providing clarity and solutions regarding schedules, payments, and chargebacks.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks, from reporting to process testing and application completion with agents and customers.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills — you know how to stay organized and keep things moving.
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
- Experience in a contact center or insurance environment a big plus.
- Familiarity with systems like Salesforce, Agent Portal, and OnBase is a bonus!
- A positive attitude, great communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
