About the Role

Gerber Life Insurance is seeking a Manager, Agency Services to lead our Independent Distribution service operations. In this role, you’ll drive partner satisfaction, streamline processes, and lead teams dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our independent agents and distribution partners.
You’ll work cross-functionally to align service strategies with business goals, strengthen compliance and quality standards, and champion innovation to enhance the partner experience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact on the success and growth of Gerber Life’s Independent Distribution channel.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Agency Support Call Center, ensuring exceptional, responsive service for independent agents.
- Manage the New York Suitability Review process and ensure compliance with regulatory and suitability standards.
- Lead Compliance Management activities including DOI, SIU, and regulatory inquiries tied to partner interactions.
- Support and guide service teams in onboarding partners, resolving escalations, and providing training and operational support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage data analytics and deliver actionable insights that enhance operations.
- Develop, coach, and empower a strong service team through feedback, motivation, and professional growth opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance partner satisfaction, and improve efficiency.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate and implement new technologies that elevate partner experience and operational performance.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) required.
- 5 years of customer service leadership experience—ideally within financial services or call center environments.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams toward achieving and exceeding service goals.
- Strong business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing compliance and regulatory processes.
- Expertise in process improvement and operational optimization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data reporting tools.
- Preferred: LOMA designation or producer license in one or more states.
