Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS system (Clover) ensuring quick and efficient transactions
- Assist with food preparation, including basic food handling and sanitation practices to maintain quality standards
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Support food industry operations by assisting in food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring timely service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle POS systems confidently, including familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
