GEOTEK, a market leader in high-performance, engineered pultruded composite structural solutions, is looking for high-potential, highly motivated engineering interns to join our engineering team. As an engineering intern, you will support all areas of our business—from manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement, to new product development, research and development, and testing. Working in partnership with other engineers and depending on assignment, primary duties may include on-floor process support, root cause investigation and corrective action, preparation of 3D CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks, material testing in the lab, and other engineering duties as assigned.
This role is focused on manufacturing and design engineering, supporting SolidWorks modeling, design updates, and hands-on engineering work on the production floor.
Responsibilities

Support manufacturing and design engineering projects.

Prepare 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks (ANSI Y14.5).

Assist with on-floor process support and troubleshooting.

Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action.

Support prototype procurement and engineering documentation.

Conduct material/lab testing and documentation.
Qualifications
-
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Composites, Chemical, Industrial, Civil, or Materials Engineering (Mechanical preferred).

Minimum GPA: 3.0.

Experience with SolidWorks required.

Strong interest in manufacturing, design engineering, and hands-on work.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, welding, coatings, plastics, etc.).

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in both office and production environments.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments.

Excellent communication skills.

Previous internship or technical work experience preferred.
