Brief Description
$5,000 Sign-on Bonus
The PUPI Line Lead is responsible for directing the daily flow of all aspects of the PUPI line, to include, but not limited to accurate drilling and cutting of beams, bushing placement, foam filling, cross arm cleanup, hardware mounting and assembly, and palletizing. In addition to overseeing the line, this person will be accountable for inventory, cycle counting and quality and accuracy of outgoing orders. Will also help in any other area of the plant as needed.
The sign-on bonus is only available for PUPI Night, PUPI Weekend Days, and PUPI Weekend Nights. If you are applying for PUPI Days, you will not receive the bonus.
Available Shifts
Physical Work Conditions:
Position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 12 hours a day. Work with or around power tools, loud equipment and chemicals. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.

- PUPI Days | Monday-Thursday | 5:00AM-3:30 PM
- PUPI Nights | Monday-Thursday | 5:00PM-3:30 AM
- PUPI Weekend Days| Friday-Sunday | 5:00AM-5:30 PM (4 bonus hours if you work all 36 hours scheduled)
- PUPI Weekend Nights | Friday-Sunday | 5:00PM-5:30AM ((4 bonus hours if you work all 36 hours scheduled)
- Responsible for daily supervision of the assigned PUPI line
- Responsible for PUPI inventory accuracy of all component items
- Assists with department cycle counts
- Responsible for PUPI product quality and accuracy of outgoing orders
- Actively participates in department process improvement and efficiency
- Makes all necessary PUPI products that work orders call out in a timely manner
- Assembles and packages product for shipment according to company standards
- Keeps the workstation and surrounding area clean and orderly
- Records necessary information on the work orders and turns them in daily
- Coordinates the material from the warehouse to the PUPI area
- Responsible for proper and thorough training for new employees
- Acts as a champion for safety by demonstrating and ensuring that all safety rules are being followed
- Provides input to department Supervisor/Manager for employee Performance Reviews
- Reports to work prepared and on time
- Supports the Mission of the organization and adheres to all company policies.
- Performs other duties as directed
- Previous supervision and scheduling experience preferred
- Ability to properly prioritize and pay close attention to details
- Able to read and write the English language
- Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure
- Able to work and lead with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills are essential
- Strong emphasis on quality, productivity, communication, and safety
