We are looking for motivated Construction Laborers to join our team. These positions support ground improvement and specialty foundation operations on active construction sites. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a strong team, this is a great opportunity.
We are hiring for Labor 1 and Labor 2 levels based on experience.
Labor 1 – Entry-Level Construction LaborerResponsibilities
- Assist equipment operators and skilled laborers as needed
- Prepare construction sites by removing obstacles and hazards
- Load and unload construction materials
- Assemble and disassemble temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding)
- Remove, fill, tamp, or compact soil
- Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen
- Assist craft workers with various tasks
- Learn on the job and follow safety procedures
- Perform daily site clean-up and housekeeping
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (required)
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical labor and strenuous tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Must be able to work well with a team
Labor 2 – Skilled Construction Laborer / Lead Laborer
Includes all duties listed under Labor 1, plus:
Additional Responsibilities
- Operate small construction equipment as needed
- Take a lead role in helping Labor 1 team members learn and perform tasks
- Support foremen in organizing work activities
- Maintain a higher standard of safety and quality control on site
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Prior construction or field experience
- Experience operating small equipment (skid steer, mini-excavator, compactors, etc.)
- Ability to guide or train junior laborers
- Strong communication and leadership skills
