Position Summary

GeoSurfaces Southeast, a TenCate company, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Track Installation Manager – Rolled Goods to support athletic track construction projects throughout the Southeast region.

This role is responsible for overseeing rolled rubber track installation operations from layout through final completion, ensuring precision execution, adherence to specifications, and alignment with company quality standards. The Track Installation Manager will play a key leadership role in establishing best practices, developing standard operating procedures, and training installation teams on proper techniques for rolled goods track systems.

This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate thrives in a field-based environment and is comfortable managing multiple projects while supporting continuous improvement in installation quality and efficiency.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for rolled rubber track installations
  • Utilize Total Station technology to perform layout and verify track dimensions before, during, and after installation
  • Lead onsite installation operations for complex and high-profile athletic track projects
  • Train, mentor, and support installation crews on proper techniques, safety practices, and quality standards
  • Serve as a technical leader for rolled rubber track installations across TenCate South and GeoSurfaces Southeast projects
  • Coordinate project schedules, site logistics, and material deliveries to ensure efficient workflow
  • Ensure installations meet project specifications, governing body standards, and company quality expectations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to resolve issues and maintain project timelines
  • Conduct site reviews to verify layout accuracy, installation progress, and final project quality
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company safety guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to installation processes, tools, and training programs


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in rolled rubber track installation methods and materials
  • Proficiency in Total Station use for layout verification and point acquisition
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software preferred
  • Strong understanding of athletic track construction standards including NFHS, NCAA, and World Athletics (WA) guidelines
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage field operations effectively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with both field personnel and leadership teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools


Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 10 years of athletic surface or construction installation experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of crew leadership or supervisory experience required
  • ASBA Certified Track Builder preferred, but not required


Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel to active construction sites throughout the Southeast region. Work is primarily performed in outdoor environments and active job sites. The role requires hands-on involvement in layout verification, installation oversight, and team training.
