What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Technician position at Geospace Technologies and Careers?
We are looking to hire a smart and dependable Technician in the Electrical Engineering group to assist in testing, repair, troubleshooting, documentation and training manufacturing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Display ability to work independently and work in a team environment as well.
- Ability to take instructions from Engineering and can be an instructor to manufacturing.
- Document Work Instructions and train Manufacturing to follow test procedures.
- Test products for Engineering on test racks/ Ovens and create test reports.
- Assemble Test fixtures.
- Repair/ Rework occasionally.
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting or assembling of test fixture tray or equipment as necessary.

- 2 plus years of work experience in an Electronic/Electrical Technician role.
- Ability to read Electronic/Electrical Schematic and Layout.
- Display some understanding of low voltage electronic component functionality.
- Familiar with testing in Oven.
- Familiar with MS Office to create test reports.
