What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Test Engineer position at Geospace Technologies and Careers?
We are searching for an Electrical Test Engineer with experience in testing new products and changes to existing products. The prime role is to design, execute, and analyze tests for electronic components and systems to ensure quality, performance, and reliability.

This is an in-person position.
Experience/Skills:
- Someone with direct experience analyzing and devising test strategies balancing test coverage, D/PFMEA fault detection, and cycle time.
- Works with development teams to design in testability.
- Generates test strategy and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Experienced automating PCBA and unit testing with software.
- End-to-end fault detection strategies including AOI, ICT, FVT, system testing, BIST, and ORT.
- Experience with RF and cellular test strategies.
- Experience with programming for automated test routines, often in languages like C or C#, python, or LabView.
Education/Experience requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 5 Years in an electronics manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
