Position Summary
The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and administering training programs that support employee development, safety, compliance, quality, and operational excellence throughout the Rincon manufacturing facility.
Working closely with Operations, Human Resources, Safety, Quality, and department leaders, this individual will ensure employees receive the training necessary to perform safely, effectively, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys interacting with employees, coordinating multiple priorities, and helping build a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Training Administration
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
- Schedule and administer plant-wide training sessions.
- Maintain employee training records and documentation.
- Track required annual, regulatory, and compliance training.
- Monitor training completion and follow up with employees and supervisors.
- Maintain training calendars and communicate schedules across departments.
Learning & Development
- Coordinate technical, safety, leadership, and professional development programs.
- Assist with developing and updating training materials, presentations, and job aids.
- Support cross-training initiatives across manufacturing departments.
- Partner with department managers to identify training needs and skill gaps.
- Coordinate instructor-led, online, and hands-on training programs.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and customer training requirements.
- Coordinate required safety certifications and recurring training.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Assist with documentation supporting ISO, quality, and safety initiatives.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate training completion reports and dashboards.
- Maintain employee qualification matrices and skills assessments.
- Track certifications, licenses, and required renewals.
- Ensure all training records remain accurate and audit-ready.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend improvements to training programs and processes.
- Support implementation of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Assist in developing standardized work instructions and training documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement and employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience coordinating employee training, learning and development, HR, manufacturing support, or workforce development.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
- Experience maintaining training records and compliance documentation.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
