Live - Out Nanny for a Family in Virginia Highlands

A warm, fun-loving family in Virginia Highlands is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny who is creative, proactive, and highly reliable to join their home.(children ages 6, 4, 1.5yr old)  The ideal candidate is someone who brings positivity, leaves personal matters at the door, and treats this role with professionalism and dedication. The family values a nanny who is consistently on time, hardworking, and able to take initiative to anticipate the needs of both the children and parents — making their lives easier without needing to be micro-managed. Each day begins at 8:00 AM (unless dad is traveling and they will need you at 7am) , helping the older children finish breakfast, packing lunch for children, and getting Children ready for the day. After school drop-off, the nanny will plan enriching outings and open play for kiddo until noon, followed by lunch, school pick-up, nap time for Children, and quiet play for older brother. The afternoons include outdoor play, park visits, sibling pick-up, and engaging playtime. During downtime, the nanny will assist with light housekeeping related to the children — including dishes, kids’ laundry (start in the morning, finish in the afternoon), organizing playrooms, prepping simple meals, and keeping diaper stations stocked. Occasional errands and a monthly grocery store trip may be needed. The family especially appreciates a nanny who is hands-on with arts and crafts, loves to sing, dance, and be silly, and is always ready to jump in and help — especially by asking, “What else can I do?”
