**Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including bathing, dressing, errands, and toileting.
- provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, adhering to aseptic technique and HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize electronic health records to document patient care and communicate with healthcare providers.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blue or disaster response, and provide assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with patient transfers, including those in wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Experience in hospice care or emergency medicine is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and aseptic technique is required.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
