Pay Grade: M
Oversees Child Welfare Services and administrative operations of a Class 1 County DFCS office. Manages the administration of policies and programs designed to protect and protect children and families. Ensures mandated services with priority of child safety and service provision to children and families. Directs subordinate supervisors and staff.
Job Responsibilities- Bachelor's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND two (2) years of supervisory experience in a human service delivery program.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND two (2) years of experience at the lower level Child Welfare Svcs Spec Spv (SSP073) or position equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience:
- Three (3) or more years supervisory work experience with DFCS or comparable child welfare agency managing Child Protective Services (CPS), Foster Care and/or Adoptions.
