What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worship Pastor position at Georgia Baptist Mission Board?
Calvary Baptist Church of Arcadia, Florida is prayerfully seeking a full-time Worship Pastor to serve a medium-size, multigenerational, conservative, mission-minded Southern Baptist congregation. Arcadia is a rural, agricultural, family-friendly community in southwest Floridam and our church enjoys blended worship on Sundays with active mid-week ministries.
The ideal candidate is a pastor-musician who loves the local church, develops volunteers, and crafts services that are biblically faithful, Spirit-led, and aligned with our mission. Primary duties include planning and leading worship;overseeing the music ministry (band and praise team); recruiting, training and scheduling volunteers ( inlcluding tech/AVL); coordinating seasonal services events; and providing pastoral care in partnership with Lead Pastor and staff. Proficiency in voice plus guitar or keys is preferred, along with familiarity with tools such as Planning Center and ProPresenter. Candidates should joyfully affirm the Baptist Faith & Message (2000) and model Christian maturity.
