Position Summary
The Front Desk Representative provides superior customer service to patients, families, and staff while ensuring accurate and efficient registration, communication, and administrative support.
- Reports to: Practice Manager
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
License

Technology proficiency including:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- EMR systems
- Practice management software
- Clockwise system
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies preferred but not required
Essential Functions
- Collect, verify, and accurately enter patient demographic, billing, and clinical information
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes using the Clockwise system
- Enter patient data and scan documents into the EMR system
- Verify and update insurance and demographic information
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Respond to patient inquiries and route messages appropriately to clinical staff
- Maintain accurate accounting of the cash drawer during shifts
- Conduct follow-up calls to patients after visits, as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and registration areas
