Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of renovation projects, including carpentry, drywall, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized techniques such as concrete finishing and tile laying. The Renovator will play a key role in transforming spaces efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute renovation projects.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to perform tasks such as carpentry, concrete forming, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry.
- Conduct restoration work including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and surface finishing.
- Install plumbing fixtures and electrical components in compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks like concrete finishing and material handling.
- Estimate project materials and labor requirements to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively across multiple phases of renovation projects.
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of proven renovation or remodeling experience
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized techniques such as concrete forming or tile laying.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
