Key Responsibilities:
Medical Records Duties
- Maintain and organize medical record files in compliance with facility and state regulations
- Pull and file records accurately and promptly
- Ensure record locator systems are updated and coordinated for all chart movements, aiming for high accuracy in record retrieval.
- Collect, fill, and deliver supply requisitions to appropriate nursing units
- Create supply orders from vendors and receive shipments
- Maintain neat storage areas, take inventory, and comply with facility standards.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility
- High school diploma or equivalent (3 years of medical records experience preferred)
- Basic computer skills (typing, MS Office/healthcare systems)
- Strong communication skills
