Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and oversee all aspects of facility management. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring energetic leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to maintaining our state-of-the-art production facilities.
Duties
- Lead and supervise maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance across all facility systems
- Oversee the management of maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Manage mechanical systems such as HVAC units, pumps, conveyors, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs
- Coordinate projects related to facility upgrades or modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations
- Conduct inspections of electrical panels, mechanical equipment, and building infrastructure to identify potential issues early
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to industrial maintenance, high voltage, and electrical work
- Supervise small maintenance team
Requirements
- Proven management experience supervising maintenance or facilities teams in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management and planning
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, and safety standards related to electrical work
- Ability to read technical schematics and perform systematic troubleshooting using tools like Ohmmeters
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects effectively
- Fluency in English; strong communication skills for clear reporting and team coordination
