Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Acts as liaison between employees and management to communicate and enforce various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and governmental regulations
- Acts as an integral part of the HR team providing assistance to fellow HR team members and strengthening the team approach toward a common goal and vision.
- Responsible for finding, attracting, and evaluating candidates for job openings to include job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews and extending offers.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Daily maintenance of HRIS system including new hires, job transfers, employee changes, and terminations.
- Responsible for accurately completing each step of the defined termination process to include conducting exit interviews, analyzing data and making recommendations to HR Director for corrective action and continuous improvement
- Partners with employees and management to ensure proper time & attendance tasks are complete, accurate and on time including timecard maintenance and time off requests.
- Reviews and approves all employee benefit enrollments and provides benefits guidance to employees when needed
- Administers employee leaves of absence in accordance with company policy and federal regulations such as ADA and FMLA
- Provides excellent customer service to all employees and managers ensuring employee questions, concerns, and suggestions are addressed accurately and timely.
- Responsible for positively influencing employee engagement and morale and recognizing and correcting patterns or trends that may have a negative effect.
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports from various employee relations systems
- Maintain discretion and ensure proper handling while dealing with highly sensitive data
- Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements
- Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees

- High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree preferred in Human Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration or Business Management
- 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas
- Primary work in a climate-controlled office environment
- Eye/Hand coordination for more than 50% of the time
- Sitting at least 75% of the time
- Visual strain for more than 50% of the time
- Listening, sitting, standing, stooping, walking, observing, grasping, pushing, pulling, and keyboarding
- Operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computer, photocopier and smartphone
- Regular office hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
