Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Changes tooling.
• Troubleshoots all operating equipment.
• Performs machine repairs and preventative maintenance on machine tools as needed.
• Processes all materials.
• Starts-up and shuts down machinery.
• Ensures proper materials are used at each machine.
• Sets up accessory equipment, such as material feeds, auxiliary cooling, etc.
• Maintains set-up records on tools, preventative maintenance and run profiles.
• Adjusts machines to produce quality products as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read and follow specifications as required to mold required part(s).
• Ability of read and write English.
• Ability to work with minimum direction.
• Abilit to identify different materials and products.
• Knowledge of measuring and testing devices.
• Knowledge of machine and tooling functions/interactions.
  
  

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in fast pace, high change environment.
  
  

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Exposure to machine noise.
• Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
• Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
• Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
• This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
