- EPIC HB Resolute and Claims experience – Must have

Job Summary
The Collector, under general supervision, performs collection activities for assigned accounts according to established procedures. Responsibilities include contacting patients and insurance representatives, reviewing claim status, obtaining insurance information, processing payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate documentation in the accounts receivable system.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Perform collection activities for assigned accounts.
· Contact patients, insurance companies, attorneys, employers, and physicians to resolve payment issues or arrange payment plans.
· Contact patients and insurance company representatives via phone or written communication to verify claim status, obtain insurance information, and counsel on financial arrangements.
· Maintain detailed and accurate collection records in the accounts receivable system.
· Process accounts for write-off, conduct detailed research to qualify accounts, and present documentation to the Billing & Collections Manager for approval.
· Counsel patients regarding their accounts and respond to inquiries.
· Communicate with collection agencies and provide appropriate information to the Credit Bureau to assist in payment resolution.
· Review and respond to correspondence related to accounts and take necessary follow-up actions.
