Role Description This full-time, on-site CNC Machinist role is located in Granbury, TX. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components for oil and gas surface equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing tooling and fixtures, selecting appropriate materials, monitoring machining operations, and performing routine machine adjustments to ensure accurate and efficient production. The role also involves collaborating with supervisors and engineers to resolve machining issues to improve processes. The CNC Machinist is expected to have blueprint reading knowledge as well as experience with precision measuring tools including but not limited to micrometers and calipers.
Qualifications
- Strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, safe operation, and basic maintenance of CNC machinery.
- Hands-on experience in Machining and Milling, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including inspection techniques, tolerances, and documentation of results.
- Familiarity with industrial Machinery in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.
- Previous experience as a CNC machinist or in a related machining role in metal fabrication or equipment manufacturing.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering specifications, and work instructions.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining or CNC operation is preferred.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and company policies and to participate in ongoing training.
