What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portfolio Management Associate (Real Estate) position at Genuine Search Group?
We are working with a well-established global investment firm looking to add a Real Estate Portfolio Management Associate to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare performance reports and analyses to support ongoing monitoring of investment portfolios.
- Conduct market, economic, and industry research to support investment recommendations and strategic decision-making.
- Assist with investment due diligence by reviewing opportunities, analyzing supporting materials, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings with investment partners and, when appropriate, attend site visits to evaluate investment strategies and underlying assets.
- Coordinate with internal operations and support teams to facilitate investment-related processes and reporting.
- Contribute to sustainability and responsible investing initiatives by supporting data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams on portfolio management and strategic projects.
- Support additional research, analysis, and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in real estate investments, asset management, institutional investing, consulting, or a related financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of real estate investment principles, financial analysis, and portfolio performance measurement.
- Experience preparing presentations and communicating analytical findings to senior stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis; experience with automation tools or VBA is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Power BI, including data transformation, report development, and visualization techniques, is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
