Civil Engineer / Project Manager – Land Development
A multi-disciplinary design and engineering firm is seeking experienced Civil Engineers and Project Managers to join their growing land development team in Chantilly, VA. The firm brings together civil engineers, landscape architects, planners, surveyors, and security consultants to deliver innovative design solutions for today’s most complex development challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the design and development of land development projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare site plans, grading and drainage designs, utility layouts, and stormwater management systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Coordinate with clients, reviewing agencies, and internal design teams to ensure project goals, budgets, and schedules are met.
- Oversee or contribute to plan preparation, permitting, and technical documentation.
- Provide mentorship, quality control, and guidance to junior engineers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- 4–10 years of relevant experience for Civil Engineer roles; 8–15 years for Project Manager roles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and land development design standards.
- Strong background in site planning, stormwater management, grading, and infrastructure design.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- EIT or PE license preferred.
