Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an Ecommerce Specialist to lead the DTC website in the US (and globally). They are looking for a candidate who has Shopify experience, can be hands-on in the role, and experienced in data/analytics to continuously optimize the Shopify sites. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, designing, and optimizing Shopify sites for the brand (in the US & globally) and work directly with the VP of DTC. You are someone who is detail oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about ecommerce and UX optimization. This role is in-office Monday through Thursday in Newark, NJ (with work from home on Fridays).
Responsibilities:
Shopify Site Management
- Build and update product pages, collections, navigation menus, and on-site content.
- Develop new campaign-specific landing pages.
- Refresh product copy, tags, variants, and metafields.
- Oversee seasonal merchandising updates, promotional changes, and general site refreshes.
- Upload and manage creative assets, including banners, images, and copy.
- Maintain a visually cohesive, error-free, and mobile-optimized site experience.
- Manage, prioritize, and execute incoming requests across more than 20 global storefronts.
Analytics & Optimization
- Support the setup, execution, and analysis of A/B tests.
- Utilize CRO platforms (such as VWO) to run experiments.
- Deliver insights and recommend improvements based on performance data.
- Monitor core metrics including conversion rate, bounce rate, funnel drop-off, and add-to-cart rate.
- Track site performance using tools like Shopify Analytics, GA4, Hotjar, and related analytics platforms.
Technical & Operational Execution
- Partner with developers or external agencies on theme updates, bug resolutions, and new feature implementations.
- Conduct QA testing after updates to ensure functionality across devices.
- Help maintain site performance standards, SEO fundamentals, and accessibility best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of Shopify experience, including hands-on page creation and content management.
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify admin, themes, and app integrations.
- Familiarity with CRO principles and A/B testing tools.
- Ability to perform light graphic editing in Figma, Canva, or Adobe XD.
- Experience using project/task management systems such as Jira.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus, though not required.
- Basic understanding of GA4, heatmapping tools, and funnel analytics.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
