Key Responsibilities
- Transform blueprints and technical drawings into precision-machined reality
- Master the setup and operation of manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Achieve and maintain close tolerances through expert manual machining techniques
- Ensure quality excellence through meticulous inspection of finished parts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and solve technical challenges
- Champion safety and maintain an organized, efficient workspace
- 7 years of hands-on experience in manual machining, including tool making, fixturing, and production manufacturing
- Expert-level blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Deep understanding of manual machining techniques, GD&T, and machine tolerances
- Self-directed work style with strong collaborative abilities
- Commitment to precision and quality in every part produced
- Clear communication skills for effective team collaboration
