Location: San Clemente, CA 92672 (not remote)

Compensation: $20-22 an hour, 10-20 hours per week

Genuine Ginger is a boutique social media agency and we provide organic social media strategy and create original content for brands who keep it real. The majority of our clients are conscious consumer packaged goods – food and beverage brands you might buy at Whole Foods Market or Sprouts! We have so many snacks at the office and are often going on little walks or mini adventures to capture our fun, engaging content!

Job Overview

We are looking for someone with video editing experience, who loves chatting on social media, and is chill, organized, and efficient. We’re looking for someone to work about 2 days a week from our studio space remotely a few hours on weekend days. Ideally you live in South Orange County!

Day to Day

·      Social Media Content Editor

• Editing and retouching videos and photos to match brand aesthetics

o  Support content creation by being a low key model in content

• Create social media graphics as needed – graphic design experience a big plus!

o  Assisting in styling photo and video content and even helping to shoot!

o  Clean up and studio organization as time allows

·      Community Manager

o  Post approved content to brands’ social media channels

o  Chatting with and responding to our communities asap, shifting between tone and personality as needed to match clients’ tone guidelines

o  Become an advocate for our clients in social media spaces, engaging on both branded and non-branded, relevant content

o  Increase brand awareness, brand communication, and online reputation with consumer interactions for our clients

o  Contribute creative ideas based on trends and brand vision

·      If needed, take on additional hours to support other team members with editing, shooting, community management or content planning.
