Responsibilities
- Assisting with Scheduling & Dispatch & Routing (MOST IMPORTANT)
- Schedule patient trips (dialysis, hospital visits, etc.)
- Assign drivers and optimize routes
- Handle cancellations and last-minute changes
- Monitor trips in real-time and communicate with drivers
Customer Service
- Answer calls from patients, hospitals, and insurance brokers
- Confirm appointments and resolve issues
- Handle complaints professionally
Qualifications
- Preferred Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, scheduling tools)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior dispatch or medical office experience preferred
- Dispatching or logistics experience
- Familiarity with NEMT software
