Gentle Hands Tallahassee Playspace in Tallahassee, FL is an indoor playground for small children looking for part-time play area team members to join our small team. Our ideal candidate is energetic, friendly, detail oriented, responsible, and loves working with people, including children. This role primarily involves customer relationships, sales, and cleaning/maintaining facility appearance. Hours are flexible and available now with additional shifts beginning in June.
We are hiring applicants for both our weekday Play Area Team Members and Party Assistants, so weekend hours are available as well, hiring preference will be given to someone available on weekends as well.
Responsibilities
- Check in families
- Answer phone calls
- Create a friendly atmosphere for guests and interact with customers in a friendly way
- Set up small activities for children during some shifts
- Offer classes and event bookings to customers
- General cleaning in the facility including play area, snack area, and bathrooms
- Selling retail, memberships, and bookings for events and parties
Qualifications
- Clean background
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with customer service and children are a bonus
- 18 years old
