About the Role (Summary of project)
Gentis Solutions is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to support a major client’s Fire TV PR team. This role focuses on shaping media narratives around Fire TV’s search capabilities, content discovery features, and Alexa integration.
The PR Specialist will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to identify compelling feature stories, build PR strategies, and drive impactful media coverage. This is a high-visibility communications role supporting one of the most reporter-engaging product lines in the company.
This is a fully onsite opportunity in Seattle with a 7-month contract term.
What You’ll Do (Job Description):
- Lead PR strategy for Fire TV feature launches.
- Translate complex product features into customer-focused stories.
- Secure media coverage by building relationships with tech and consumer reporters.
- Drive PR campaigns across earned, paid, owned, and social channels.
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Identify and pitch high-impact media opportunities to maintain Fire TV’s visibility.
- Write and refine press materials, blog posts, messaging documents, and media statements.
- Contribute to creative storytelling that highlights Fire TV’s customer benefits.
What We’re Looking For (Must Haves):
- 5 years of recent professional communications or PR experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong media relations experience with a track record of securing positive coverage.
- Ability to write clear, compelling messaging and press materials.
